Housing Services
A Woman’s Place housing programs are available for victims/survivors of domestic violence who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic violence. These programs are available for both residents and non-residential clients. Housing advocates are able to assist with getting documents for housing, assistance with housing searches for affordable housing, as well as community referrals for other housing matters.
A Woman’s Place works with the Northern Colorado Continuum of Care through the Coordinated Assessment Housing Placement System (CAHPS). This is Larimer and Weld County's coordinated entry process. The coordinated entry process is a system developed to efficiently and effectively connect the most vulnerable people to appropriate interventions that will rapidly end their homelessness. A Woman’s Place provides a safe way for victims and survivors to be added to the coordinated entry process and advocates on their behalf for available resources in the community. A Woman’s Place is sometimes able to provide financial support in regards to housing assistance, however each assistance program has different qualifications depending on what funding is available. To find out more about A Woman’s Place’s housing programs, please contact the crisis line at (970) 356-4226 and let the advocates know that you are interested in housing services. If you currently are not in a safe place and need emergency shelter, please call the crisis line number for information about A Woman’s Place shelter program. |
