MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of A Woman’s Place is to shelter and help empower victims/survivors of domestic abuse to become safe, secure and self-reliant; and through education and collaboration, to mobilize our community to help prevent domestic violence. |

A Woman's Place, Inc. is the only domestic violence agency in Weld County that provides a continuum of services specifically geared toward victims/survivors of domestic violence. We provide services that include emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis line, individual domestic violence advocacy and case management, domestic violence counseling, education and support groups, children’s programs and legal advocacy.
Thanks to the efforts of our community and the generosity of our funders, A Woman’s Place continues to provide critical services and education in our community.
Our services are completely free and confidential. We are a safe shelter providing Universal Access. |

10 Helpful things to do to help some one in an abusive relationship: Open a dialogue. Express your concern. Appreciate the danger and talk about how the victim stays safe. Commit to unconditional support.. Listen. Tell the victim the abuse is not her fault. Compliment the victim. Make nonjudgmental observations. Offer help and set clear boundaries.
