For Goodness Sake is a consortium of four agencies that have come together to enhance each agency's mission in the community. We agree to non-duplication of services, to make appropriate referrals, to write grants together, to share equipment when feasible, and to collaborate to produce one or more large fundraisers each year.
Our kick off event was held on Friday, March 16th, 2007 at the Greeley Freight Station, which is the site of Greeley's premier miniature train museum, now under construction. We enjoyed gourmet coffee and wonderful pastries donated by various community businesses. Numerous events “celebrations” were available for people to purchase that were held throughout the year. Some of the events included a hot air balloon ride, an exciting private Italian dinner party, dinners at the Rio Grande and the Texas Roadhouse, a Christmas sleigh ride, a guided hunting trip, and Dancing with the Cars.
